About STR Fix-It Pros
We started STR Fix-It Pros as an extension of our long-running family business, Morehead Carpentry, which has been remodeling homes across Louisville and beyond for nearly 20 years. James Morehead is the master carpenter behind it all. He’s flipped over 100 properties for investors, tackled full-blown luxury remodels and hot-mess houses alike, and even restored historic homes with care.

But here’s the twist: we’re also short-term rental hosts. We own and self-manage properties in the Smoky Mountains and along the Bourbon Trail, so we live the STR life too...late-night guest calls, smart lock swaps, supply restocks, and all. We’ve walked in your shoes, which is why we created STR Fix-It Pros.
